- Original BTC was founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Design, quality and attention to detail are at the forefront of the products we produce.
- Two additional brands ‘Davey Lighting‘ and ‘Beadlight’ are included under the Original BTC umbrella, bringing with them their products, skills and facilities. We are also fortunate to own six production facilities dedicated to our designs; these include a ceramics factory, glass factory and metal works. HQ and our assembly factories are based in Oxfordshire where Original BTC was founded.
- With showrooms in London, Paris, New York & Taiwan, we work closely with retailers, interior designers and architects supplying products all around the world. We are very much an international business with sales to over 85 countries.

Looking to expand the Group into outdoor lighting, Original BTC acquired Davey Lighting in 2010. With roots dating back to the shipyards of nineteenth century London, Davey Lighting combines industrial design, traditional craftsmanship and the finest raw materials.Authentic and unique, IP rated bathroom and outdoor-safelights are manufactured in England with the same attention to detail required for their original industrial purpose.
- BEADLIGHT
British LED lighting specialist Beadlight designs, engineers and manufactures the ultimate reading lights using a unique diffusion system originally created for the aerospace industry. Founded in Oxford in the 1980s, today Beadlight combines its pedigree of electronic engineering excellence and impeccable eco credentials with Original BTC’s design and manufacturing expertise.
