The Amber, a fossil resin of a yellow-gold colour sometimes with orange shades, has been appreciated for its beauty and
mystery since ancient times. Its inclusions and preservation of insects and plants have always generated fascination and caused
its reputation to preserve man, too. Therefore, it is said to be protective and curative; often it is pulverized or burnt for its
fragrance. A wide-spread superstition attributes to the Amber the power to cure headache or to protect from nightmares.
