Introducing the Oxford Double, our first multi arm lampshade chandelier and matching wall light. Suspended from an expertly machined satin lacquered brass five-arm frame are duos of beautifully translucent quilted bone china shades, hand-cast at our Stoke-on-Trent factory.
Featuring large quilting on the upper conical shade and a smaller diamond effect on the inner shade, the Oxford comes to life when switched on, as the light interacts with the crisp lines running across the textured surface.
The latest addition to our Oxford collection of floor, wall, table and pendant lights, these new lights will be launching at Decorex (11-13 October, Olympia, London), as well as in our showrooms in London, Paris, New York and Taichung.
Click through the image gallery to see Oxford Double shade being hand made – from the slip (clay and water mix) going into the moulds, to the set shades being sponged and fettled to remove imperfections before their biscuit-firing in the kiln to achieve the natural matt white finish.
